The Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House is a nonprofit division of the Missouri Botanical Garden, located in Faust Park in Chesterfield, Missouri. The location is located on 33 acres of meadows and hardwoods, just a few miles off Highway 515 in Talking Rock, Georgia, and can accommodate up to 500 guests. The 8,000 square foot indoor event venue is completely climate controlled and has a floral bar, a huge heated kitchen, private facilities, and a magnificent bride and groom suite, among other amenities. Our facility can accommodate 300 people for a sit-down dinner and 400 guests for a standing reception. Our goal is to create a foundation canvas in a place that can be transformed from modern-chic to southern elegance to fit any style preference or requirement. For large families and unique celebrations, Holly Hill Manor is a fantastic site. As an alternative to renting out restaurants or hosting a party at your home or workplace, you can have access to an 8,000 square foot area that can be customized to suit your needs and style. The rotunda is reached through a 13270 square foot lobby that runs around the whole structure. The open entryway's walls describe the space's one-of-a-kind design on the inside. HQO was designed to be built around an existing pump station, giving it its distinctive shape. Throughout the foyer, there are various cut-outs that lead to the pumping station. A National Historic Landmark at the heart of downtown Columbus, the Ohio Statehouse anchors the 10-acre Capitol Square and has welcomed legislators and the public since 1857. Built largely of Columbus limestone in the Greek Revival style, the building is crowned by a 120-foot domed Rotunda with an inlaid marble floor and glass skylight - one of several distinctive settings available for weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings, and non-profit events. Indoor spaces range from the 4,068-square-foot Atrium, where Greek columns rise to a glass-and-bronze ceiling beside a grand staircase inspired by the Paris Opera House, to intimate antique-furnished rooms such as the State Room and the Ladies' Gallery. The limestone-walled Museum Gallery and the Rotunda host seated dinners and receptions for up to several hundred guests, while the exterior plazas accommodate outdoor gatherings of as many as 5,000.
