Historic Taylor Barn is a limestone event venue near Lawrence, Kansas, built in 1879 by Eben Baldwin and German craftsmen. Originally constructed to house 30 head of horse and 80 tons of hay, the structure has been part of a working farm owned by the Taylor family since 1947. The barn has welcomed weddings and private celebrations since 2007, offering a one-of-a-kind rustic setting during its May through October season. The venue accommodates up to 125 guests across the barn, porch, and terrace, with packages that include banquet tables, white chairs, linens, indoor and outdoor bars, and a dedicated on-site coordinator. Joseph Ambler Inn spans twelve acres of gardens and rolling meadows in North Wales, Pennsylvania, less than an hour from Philadelphia on the border of Bucks and Montgomery Counties. The property is made up of five historic buildings, including the 1734 Farmhouse, the 1820 Stone Bank Barn, and the 1794 John Roberts House, the last of which was relocated two miles to the property in 2003. Now marking 40 years in operation, the inn has grown from a small bed-and-breakfast into a 52-room hotel with a full restaurant and bar. The inn offers five distinct event spaces suited to gatherings from 10 to 200 guests, from intimate fireside ceremonies for up to 40 to the combined Bonnymeade and Wheelwright banquet rooms, which can host up to 200. The Fieldstone Room, set within the Stone Bank Barn, keeps its original exposed stone walls and hardwood floors, while the Farmhouse and John Roberts House offer smaller, more intimate settings for cocktail receptions and dinners. The Vander Ende-Onderdonk House (circa 1709) is the city's oldest Dutch fieldstone house and is the oldest of its kind in the United States. A community museum and the headquarters of the Greater Ridgewood Historical Society are housed within the New York City Landmark. Additionally, Arbitration Rock can be found on the property. The Grand Rapids Historical Society hosts a variety of public events throughout the year. In addition, the property is available for private rentals on a limited basis. Sandstone barged up the Ohio River from Isabella, Pennsylvania went into the clubhouse that has stood above Weirton since 1932 — a one-of-a-kind stone building from the depths of the Great Depression, when Weirton Steel bought the 150 acres of bluff it sits on. Williams Golf and Country Club grew from a nine-hole course, laid out by Emil 'Dutch' Loeffler and John McGlynn, into the par-72, 18-hole layout that has since hosted the USGA, the West Virginia Golf Association, the Tri-State PGA, and three West Virginia Opens. Celebrations here trace back nearly as far: a 1937 wedding on the front lawn of the club's stone Lodge once made the pages of Time.
