    Having a long-standing presence in the community, the Heard-Craig is committed to provide educational and creative opportunities to all. If you would like to organize a tour, a group visit, find out about a community art tour, connect with a local art studio, or learn more about the Art Club of McKinney, please contact us. The Carriage House may be rented for wedding receptions, bridal showers, birthday celebrations, and other special events of many kinds. The two-story facility is equipped with a kitchen, two restrooms, and tables and seats for up to 50 people. China, crystal, flatware, punch glasses and coffee urns are all included in the rental price of the event. Tablecloths (in either white or black) can be rented for an additional fee. At the Heard-Craig Center, you may have your garden wedding. A total of 150 people can be accommodated in the Garden. Guests will be greeted by a big white Gazebo (which will be used for the ceremony) and two white wedding arches, which will allow them to make a spectacular entry. An additional Secret Garden is located behind the Gazebo and is available for surprise engagements as well as Engagement Photo Sessions. In addition to hosting a wedding shower tea, the Heard-Craig Center for the Arts provides an ideal location for booking a private picture shoot in the magnificent parlor, the library, or the front porch.

Sara joined Lone Star Mansion in 2015 after earning her certification as a Certified Wedding & Event Professional, working as an outside planner, and running her own venue. She's behind the scenes ensuring our brides have the perfect day when she's not conducting tours and getting to know each couple. Sara enjoys spending her free time with her spouse and friends traveling around the world. Tigi has worked with all area of weddings, from assistant coordination to videography, flower design, cake creation, complete planning, and everything in between. Tigi genuinely cares about individuals and enjoys assisting them in planning their ideal wedding. She is genuinely concerned about each couple and enjoys building long-term relationships with them during the planning process. Tigi has progressed to the position of Senior Event Director after joining Lone Star Mansion in 2015.     The Surrey House is a big historic residence that was constructed around 1910. It has withstood a century of tornadoes, fires, and other natural calamities to become one of the most well-known wedding venues in the North Dallas community. A complete renovation of the facility was carried out in 1998, and a partial renovation was carried out in 2011. Just a few blocks south of the old town center and the magnificently renovated county courthouse, you'll find this stunning residence in McKinney's historic area. Behind the main home is a big deck that overlooks the rear yard and a wedding gazebo that was expressly created for the occasion. Brides and bridesmaids can get ready for their special moments in the bridal cottage, which is located at the southern end of the backyard on the south side. It is possible to host events of up to 150 people in the Surrey House and its surrounding grounds.     Inspired by a trip to Tuscany, The Vineyard at Florence began as a working vineyard on the gently sloped hills of Florence, Texas, and grew into a boutique hotel and resort with a winery, restaurant, day spa, and private event spaces. Its main building, Villa Firenze, was originally built in New York State around 1850 using timber-frame construction, then carefully transported to the property and restored; the surrounding buildings were designed in the same old Italian style, with tile roofs and warm exterior tones. The resort produces its own wines on-site, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Rodeo Uncorked San Antonio International Wine Competition from 2021 through 2024.     TWO-STORY CLIMATE CONTROLLED BARN The 4,000-square-foot Dove Hollow Estate barn is framed with grey and white barn doors. Our bespoke iron and glass doors, which serve as the barn's main entrance and exit, are what set us apart. They're responsible for our barn's industrial/modern vibe, which we adore. The ambience for your wedding is set by 33 ft high ceilings with magnificent industrial teardrop glass chandeliers. Our barn also has 22 pane-less glass windows, some of which are almost 10 feet long, ensuring that your memories are completely captured. CHAPEL Our chapel features bench seating and can accommodate up to 200 people. It has a gloomy black exterior with gold hardware details and wide windows (to let your white outfit sparkle!). The interior is light and spacious, with industrial and modern design elements that nicely match the character of our barn welcoming area. The climate-controlled chapel is conveniently positioned next to the Dove Hollow Estate barn. Take in your indoor ceremony before heading over to the Barn for your reception! OUTDOOR CEREMONY SPACE If you want to have an outside ceremony, come out via our barn doors and meet your love under our oak tree. Electrical outlets are readily located throughout the venue for any DJ or ceremony needs. The seating for the outside event will be provided by our clients. The metal tolix chairs at Dove Hollow will only be used for reception. PRIVATE BRIDAL SUITE WITH BATHROOM Dove Hollow brides have their own place upstairs with a private bathroom, designed to make getting ready with your besties a calm experience. Both the Founders Hall and the Clubhouse, located on a beautifully forested acres, provide an ideal location for a variety of events including weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, luncheons, banquets, parties, and many other sorts of gatherings and gatherings. If you're having a buffet, Founders Hall, which is the bigger of the two venues, can accommodate 250 people, while seating 168 guests is possible in the smaller space.     Peninsula Ranch encompasses 500 acres of breathtaking natural splendor. In all, there are 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms in the Lodge, making it a secure and tranquil place to relax. Seven miles of unique beachfront, wide open fields of native grasses, calm nature pathways, breath-taking sunrises and sunsets, and a variety of other amenities are available to our visitors. On the site are three of the state's biggest pecan trees, which are among the largest in the world. The ranch is the ideal location for special occasions such as weddings and family reunions.     Thistlewood Manor & Gardens is a French-inspired manor estate in Kyle, Texas, set among expansive, continually developed lawns and gardens. Established in 2014 and now led by owner Ginny Tipton, the venue pairs the main house's elegant, intimate interiors with an open courtyard and lawn suited to both ceremonies and receptions. The Manor holds up to 160 guests indoors with a dance floor and can expand beyond 200 when the celebration flows out onto the patio and lawn. The Ballroom offers a grand staircase, chandeliers, and marble-like floors behind glass and iron doors that open to the courtyard, accommodating 15 to 160 seated guests for both ceremonies and receptions. The Courtyard's lawns and gardens allow for personalized ceremony layouts and can be tented for weather protection. A bridal suite with a private patio and full bath, alongside a separate groom's den, gives wedding parties dedicated space to prepare.
