The private event space known as the Porter Room is an excellent choice for a wide variety of celebrations, including weddings, business meetings, retreats, rehearsal dinners, social gatherings, and many more. The Porter Room is a one-of-a-kind venue that offers an experience that is unmatched by any other establishment in the Charleston area. It shares the same marsh-front property as Holy City Brewing. It would be our absolute pleasure to give you a tour of The Porter Room! Tours of any kind are required to have a reservation in advance. Tours of The Porter Room are normally given during the weekdays between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM. If you are interested in scheduling a tour of The Porter Room at Holy City Brewing, please send an email to maya@holycitybrewing.com. You or your event planner are in charge of setting up all of the tables and chairs for your gathering. It is mandatory that all decorations, rentals, and so on be picked up on the same day as your event, immediately following the conclusion of the allotted time for the event. The brewery and the venue share a parking lot, which is convenient for both businesses. Please keep this in mind as there is a high likelihood that the parking lot will become full quickly. It is recommended that people use ridesharing services. It's possible that only vendors will be allowed to park there. Please keep in mind that even though there are private events going on, the brewery is still open. We do monitor guests and provide signs indicating that the venue is hosting a private event. Holy City Brewing is responsible for supplying all of the alcoholic beverages. Outside alcohol vendors are not permitted. It is permissible to use any catering company that has both a license and insurance. On request, we are able to provide recommendations for various vendors. The Porter Room does not supply any kind of table linens for its guests. The person who is planning the event is going to be responsible for providing table linens.

Colleton River Club is a private, member-owned community in Bluffton, South Carolina, set along the Colleton River amid Lowcountry marshes and Live Oaks draped in Spanish moss. The property is anchored by two clubhouses: the Dye Clubhouse, designed in the style of a Southern plantation home with a grand exterior staircase, columns, and an 18-foot-wide veranda overlooking the Chechessee River and Port Royal Sound; and the Nicklaus Clubhouse, a 30,000-square-foot building with sweeping views of the course's final four holes and sunsets over the Colleton River. Within the Nicklaus Clubhouse, a ballroom is set up for weddings alongside a well-appointed Wine Room suited to intimate private dining, in addition to a fine dining room, a casual bar, and lounges. The Dye Clubhouse offers a members' bar, a formal dining room, and several smaller breakout rooms, along with a rooftop lounge and outdoor patio added during a 2023 renovation. The Children's Museum of the Upstate occupies more than 80,000 square feet across three floors in downtown Greenville, South Carolina, with 30 exhibits built around hands-on, play-based learning for children ages 0-12. The museum opened in 2009 out of one mother's vision for a world-class play-based learning facility in the Upstate, and in 2014 became the first children's museum named a Smithsonian Affiliate. For meetings and private events, the museum offers several distinct spaces. The Big Idea Conference Room, on the third floor, suits staff retreats, board meetings, and small receptions, with a screen for presentations. Be Anything Place, a round first-floor room with a projector and screen, accommodates large meetings or small receptions. The Café & Patio combines an indoor first-floor space with an adjacent outdoor patio, ideal for receptions, while the second and third floors, filled with exhibits, and the entire museum can also be rented for larger events. After-hours rentals allow guests to explore the exhibits as part of their event, with alcohol permitted and flexible vendor arrangements for food, beverage, and entertainment.

Oxford Farm is a 180-acre working horse farm in Anderson, South Carolina, set among rolling pastures and wooded trails just minutes from Interstate 85. In addition to boarding, lessons, and overnight accommodations for horses and their owners, the farm hosts weddings and special events in its rustic outdoor setting. Oxford Farm welcomes weddings, bridal and baby showers, family reunions, company functions, conferences, team-building gatherings, and music festivals, with capacity for up to 200 guests. Event packages range from a simple day-use rental to a full-service option that includes an on-site wedding professional who helps plan and budget the event and directs the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Couples may also schedule photo sessions on the grounds ahead of their ceremony date at no extra charge, with the farm's horses sometimes wandering into the shots. The farm is also home to Mane Solutions, a therapeutic riding program, and offers on-site lodging through the Guest Cottage and the Lodge for guests attending an event or traveling through the area.

Edmund's Oast is unlike any other restaurant since it combines a brewery, a seasonally oriented menu, and an encyclopedic bar program into one. Scott Shor had the foresight to bring these often-separate interests together under one roof without compromising any of their excellence. The restaurant provides customers with a friendly and interesting dining experience by serving an excellent but approachable menu. Executive Chef Bob Cook's menu includes bar appetizers, house-made charcuterie, small dishes, heartier meals, and modernized versions of classic desserts. The food is genuine and unpretentious, resulting in an unforgettable dining experience inspired by the beverages on the menu. The Library is a secluded, intimate rectangular area located near the main dining room's kitchen. It can easily seat 32 people and can hold up to 45 people standing. The Library includes a wall of windows with velvet curtains that may be drawn to provide as much or as little seclusion as desired. The Library is the only event area with a television screen and audiovisual capabilities, making it perfect for business meetings. Private dinners, happy hours, bridal/baby showers, lectures, wine/beer tastings, and more can all be held in this area. This open timber-framed structure is the perfect setting for a wide range of events and celebrations. For seated dinners of up to 100 persons, long wooden community tables are available. The space is also great for parties and activities that can spill over onto the courtyard. Up to 200 persons can stand throughout the full space. The Bower is an extremely versatile venue that can accommodate events ranging from a corporate happy hour to a 100-person seated dinner to a frenetic dance floor. For hot days, there are fans, and for winter evenings, there are industrial ceiling heaters. Optional screens are available on both sides of The Bower for seclusion and intimacy. A full walkup bar is included in the Bower. When you rent out the entire restaurant, you get all of the rooms. It provides for a decent cocktail hour outside before guests arrive for dinner for rehearsal dinners. It also allows up to 300 people to enjoy live music, order beverages from either bar, watch the sun set in the courtyard, or visit the Library room's bourbon bar. There is plenty of parking on-site.

WedEscapes provides couples who want to get married but either do not have the financial means or do not have the desire for an extravagant or large wedding and reception with the option to purchase elegant micro wedding and elopement packages at private wedding and event venues. No more than 23 guests are permitted to attend each of our intimate micro weddings. The majority of the events will take place outside at privately owned vacation homes, beaches, parks, or in outdoor country settings. These locations are all managed by our premier partner, TGI Property Management & Consulting, LLC, who oversees a portfolio of vacation rentals across the state of South Carolina, including Charleston, Columbia, and Greenwood. WedEscapes is a one-stop shop for everything having to do with weddings, from the planning stages all the way through the big day. Our primary focus is on the planning and execution of elopements and smaller wedding ceremonies. The thing that makes us stand out from the competition is that we are able to perform a number of micro weddings in a single day at the same location by allocating between two and three hour blocks of time for each ceremony, depending on the services that are chosen. The number of guests included in each of our micro wedding packages ranges from 0 to 23, and the prices vary depending on which options are chosen.
