The Hill at Wright's Farm is situated on a 450-acre working farm in the center of the Hudson Valley, New York, and is surrounded by fresh peach trees in the summer and Mutsu, Mac, and Cortland apple trees in the fall. The Shawangunk Mountain Ridge serves as the backdrop to this landmark, and the view from there is so spectacular that the fields surrounding The Hill were kept unplanted in order to preserve the scenic grandeur of the surrounding area. In addition to the already noticeable attraction, the natural aroma of the peach flowers and apple blooms enhances the experience. The Hill got its start in 2014, when our daughter made the decision to have her wedding “on top of the hill.” The rest is history. Because of the site's allure, making the decision to use it was a straightforward process. Plans were drawn up to construct a terrace that would overlook the Shawangunk Mountain Ridge. The patio is enclosed by a split-rail fence, which is ideal for accommodating all of the event's guests. Whether it is in the afternoon or at night, the sky surrounding The Hill stretches for miles in every direction, and the sunsets are impossible to capture with a digital camera. Welcome to The Old Field Vineyards, a very special place for your very special day. Set way back from the Main Road lies the vineyard, the great lawn and Southold Bay. Your guests arrive and saunter down the farm road, past the grape loaded vines towards the sparkling bay. With seats set up for the ceremony and to provide a walkway, you enter through the arches and walk across the green lawn towards towards your intended with the bay behind them. Following the ceremony, guests roam the great lawn in front of our 1850s home, or hang on the sandy beach enjoying a cocktail, the view and the privacy. When dinner is ready, everyone moves into the reception tent to celebrate your union, as the moon rises over Shelter Island. What could be more perfect! The Old Field is the only vineyard on Peconic Bay with a private beach to host your special event. Weddings and parties are held outdoors and under a tent from June 15th through September 15th, and we can accommodate a maximum of 250 guests. Wedding / Party Basics: Most of our “day” weddings begin around 3:30 PM and run until 12:00 AM. Music in order to be in compliance with The Town of Southold is to be off by 10:30 PM. Wine purchases are given 15% off the case price, excluding our sparkling wine. We ask that you pour our wines only. A property manager representing The Old Field on the day of the event is required. The Old Field supplies the venue which includes 500 feet of lawn and 600 feet of beach front, electricity and non potable water for cleaning up. The wedding party/ licensee is responsible for supplying their tent, portable toilets, caterer, band/DJ, party supplies, flowers and anything else they require for their event. We have a list of approved vendors to guide you with your choice. All garbage removal is the responsibility of the Licensee and is typically handled, at your request, by the caterer. Certificates of insurance naming a) The Old Field Vineyards and (b) Christian F. Baiz and Rosamond Phelps Baiz as additional insured are required from the Licensees and all vendors coming on the property for $1,000,000.00, $2,000,000.00 in the aggregate. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of your site fee is due at the contract signing. The other half is due thirty days prior to the event, accompanied with a $1500.00 Security Deposit.

The Madoo Conservancy's gardens will reopen to the public on Friday, April 29, following a two-week closure. Our beautiful, safe space will be ready to welcome you and your family and friends on a first-come, first-served basis; however, appointments will be required. Contribute to Madoo's preparations for the year 2022. A third open day during the summer has been added, as has our contemporary art exhibition program, and the grounds at Madoo have continued to be improved. With your assistance, the year 2022 is shaping up to be a banner year for the garden. Please consider making a donation through this link. Whether you're in need of a space that’s stripped down to the basics including tons of natural light and high ceilings, or in need of a unique space for an intimate party, this is the venue for you. The Pink Moon is the brainchild of floral designer Rebecca Shepherd. Rebecca has been in the floral industry for over a decade producing all kinds of events but specializing in weddings. She opened a retail flower shop 3 years ago and found that every single person that entered her store was stunned by the 25 foot tall ceilings, the massive chandelier and the general beauty of the space. Walk in customers would step right over a black rope that was put up for boundaries and look around the space in awe! This building, once an old door factory with two floors, was gutted by the architectural genius and landlord. These walls, this corner, this neighborhood married with the floral expertise of Rebecca and her team have led her to open this very special, unique and intimate space. BROOKLYN NY MICRO-WEDDING VENUE The Pink Moon really does boast the perfect size for micro-weddings and mini-monies! The space can accommodate between 48-66 guests with a dance floor or up to 75 guests for a cocktail style party. Occupancy is currently limited to 25% due to Covid-19. Ten Ton Studio is the ideal location for films, photo shoots, and special events since it provides a variety of amenities such as photographic equipment rental, a beauty station, event planning services, free client parking, and unique access to the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
