Set on 25 landscaped acres in San Antonio, the McNay Art Museum is anchored by a 24-room Spanish Colonial Revival mansion designed by architects Atlee and Robert Ayres. The mansion, its surrounding grounds, and Marion Koogler McNay's personal art collection became the founding gift for Texas's first museum of modern art, which opened to the public in 1954. In 2008, French architect Jean-Paul Viguier added the Jane and Arthur Stieren Center for Exhibitions, a 45,000-square-foot expansion housing additional galleries, a sculpture garden, a lecture hall, and classrooms. Today the museum holds more than 22,000 works spanning medieval and Renaissance art through contemporary pieces. For weddings and corporate events, the McNay opens spaces across both the historic mansion and the contemporary center, including the Blackburn Patio, Frost Octagon, AT&T Lobby, Ewing-Halsell Foundation Reception Hall, and the Leeper Auditorium, which can seat up to 300 guests. Lillian Farms Country Estate sits on 230 acres of rolling hills in Texas's Bluebonnet Country, on land that was once a cotton plantation, between Houston and Austin near Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park and the towns of Chappell Hill and Brenham. The Estate House combines the architecture of a Victorian-style mansion with modern comforts, offering five traditional bed & breakfast guest rooms, each with a private en suite bath and a full breakfast served every morning in the main dining room. For more privacy, the property's self-catering cottages sit near the edge of its woods; seven have private hot tubs, and all include full kitchens and grills. The grounds include a 14-acre stocked fishing lake with a pier and fountain, fire pits, and a resident population of miniature ponies, donkeys, deer, and other wildlife. The Chapel For your wedding ceremony, our Chapel provides a traditional indoor alternative. Your ceremony can be as large or as intimate as you want it to be with 2,400 square feet of space. This venue can accommodate over 200 people. The Pergola Allow your guests to be enchanted by the tall trees at The Pergola during your outdoor ceremony if you wish to keep things natural. The highly wooded tree line that forms the ceremony's backdrop gives an earthy tone, while the Pergola itself can be decked up to match your wedding's theme. This outside space also provides just enough shade for your visitors. Grand Hall The Grand Venue, with approximately 4,500 square feet of size, is our indoor reception hall.
