In New Caney, Texas, the Atrium Center is a wedding venue. It is only 25 minutes northeast of Houston. The structure itself is a breathtaking architectural masterpiece in which to marry the love of your life. The Atrium Center is a striking red-brick structure with tall white columns supporting it. These stunning fixtures flank the entrance to the Atrium, a vast room with 20-foot windows that flood the space with natural light. Step outside onto two decks that overlook a pond and fountain after saying "I do" in this light and large venue. Before dinner, these open-air terraces are ideal for sipping cocktails and enjoying hors d'oeuvres. Inside, a staircase leads to the second story, where smaller rooms are available for cooking the reception feast and getting ready with the wedding party. An 8,000 square foot historic warehouse space is available for rent on the second floor of the Peanut Butter Warehouse and can be transformed into any event your imagination can dream up. There is nothing else like it on the island, with its expansive views of the harbor and rich, original brick and wood accents. It is truly unique. This one-of-a-kind venue can accommodate up to 350 people for a banquet round and up to 400 people for a reception style setting. On-site access to the changing room/conference room, as well as the Catering Kitchen and VIP parking. At the heart of the villa is a spacious Grand Ballroom, added in the 1920s, which accommodates up to 250 guests standing or 200 seated with a dance floor. The Tremont House is a historic hotel in Galveston's Strand Historic District, tracing its roots to a Galveston institution dating to 1839. The current building, once the Leon & H. Blum Building, was constructed in 1879 and restored by George and Cynthia Mitchell in the early 1980s, reopening in 1985 as the first major hotel to open in downtown Galveston in sixty years. Today the hotel offers nearly 17,000 square feet of flexible event space across eight venues, accommodating gatherings from 8 to 800 guests. The Tremont Ballroom, on the upper level of the historic Davidson building, features 14-foot ceilings and access to a balcony overlooking the Galveston Mardi Gras arch, while the Royal Room offers exposed brick and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on historic downtown. Smaller spaces like the Library and Tribune Room suit more intimate ceremonies, and the hotel's Rooftop Bar can be rented in full for weddings and receptions with views of downtown Galveston and the harbor. The 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA is a square-rigged iron barque, restored in 1982 and now a floating museum that still actively sails — one of only three ships of her kind in the world to do so. Berthed at the Galveston Historic Seaport, she is a National Historic Landmark and the Official Tall Ship of Texas, a symbol of the Gulf Coast's beginnings as a seaport that welcomes more than 40,000 visitors each year. For private events, the ship and museum site offer a romantic waterfront setting, with moonlight silhouetting the masts. Guests have access to ELISSA's decks, galleries, officers' quarters, and galley — used as a serving area or bar — along with the museum's pier, galleries, and restrooms. The site accommodates up to 500 guests across the ship and museum, or 300 for a seated dinner on the pier, making it well suited to weddings, receptions, and social gatherings. All functions are catered, as no kitchen facilities are on site.

Sea Star Base Galveston is a nonprofit maritime and aquatics campus set on 10 acres along Offatt's Bayou and Galveston Bay, founded by Captain Charles and Rosemary Doolin as a sailing center that grew into a full waterfront complex. The LEED Platinum-certified, fully handicapped-accessible facility includes a fleet of 39 boats, a seagoing classroom, a swimming pool, and a modern marina, alongside its mission to deliver marine, maritime, and aquatics-based education for youth and adults. The campus doubles as an event venue for weddings, corporate gatherings, and community celebrations. Moody Mansion is a 28,000-square-foot, four-story historic home in Galveston, completed in 1895 for the Moody family and restored to its turn-of-the-century splendor. Designed by British architect William H. Tyndall and decorated by New York's Pottier & Stymus, the mansion has been a Recorded Texas Historical Landmark since 1967 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1994. Beyond its daily house-museum tours, Moody Mansion hosts weddings, galas, and fundraisers within its historic rooms. Private event rentals include setup and takedown of furniture, linens, tables, and chairs, along with on-site staff to help coordinate vendors and floorplans.

Built in 1838, the Michel B. Menard House is Galveston's oldest home, a Greek Revival landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
