The course was carved out of a lovely peninsula or "Neck" of farmland on the eastern coast of the Island, abutting Vineyard Sound, when it was developed. The small-scale vegetable and flower farm Slip Away Farm is located on Chappaquiddick, a small island separated from Martha's Vineyard by a 527-foot ferry trip. Our mission is to provide our Island community with high-quality, organically cultivated flowers, fruits, and veggies. With the aid of her brother Christian and good friend Collins Heavener, Lily Walter founded Slip Away Farm in 2012. We started the farm on a one-acre lease in Katama, Martha's Vineyard, and delivered vegetables by bicycle to Chappaquiddick homeowners. Slip Away was relocated to the Marshall Farm on Chappy in 2013, a property jointly held by the Martha's Vineyard Land Bank and the Vineyard Trust. Copper Swan is a 22-room boutique hotel set on five acres along Duck Creek in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, on outer Cape Cod. The property centers on two historic structures: Captain's House, a former sea captain's manse reflecting the character and elegance of the Wellfleet waterfront, and the Carriage House, built in the early 1900s. Together they offer accommodations for up to 62 overnight guests, making the property well suited for multi-day buyout events and weddings where the whole party stays on-site. For private events, the venue offers five distinct spaces — from a large open lawn that accommodates up to 250 guests under a tent, to an intimate waterside setting at Hawes Pond, a marsh-facing deck at the front of Captain's House, a rear deck overlooking the grounds, and The Sail Loft, an indoor dining room that seats up to 80 and overlooks the pond. The property hosts one event per day. Camp Kiwanee is a 68-acre campground and event venue owned by the Town of Hanson, Massachusetts, set on the shores of Lake Monponsett. At its heart stands the Needles Lodge, a historic structure built in the early 1900s and listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2005 — the first property in Hanson to receive that designation. The Lodge accommodates up to 200 guests for seated receptions alongside a dance floor, and its renovated back deck overlooks Maquan Pond, with drop windows that expand seating for ceremonies. A library inside the building serves as an additional ceremony space, and outdoor lakeside and wooded settings are available for ceremonies as well. The South End Campground — available for full-evening buyout — adds 17 cabins, a bridal cottage, and a pavilion with a stage and fireplace, giving wedding parties the option to turn the celebration into an overnight retreat. Camp Kiwanee is available for weddings, corporate retreats, and private events from May through mid-October.

The land and structures at 35 Panhandle Road in West Tisbury are steeped in history, and this is evident throughout the property. It was formerly owned by Edwin Newhall "Bob" Woods (the great-grandson of founding father and first Secretary of the Society, Henry L. Whiting), and it now contains the "new" Agricultural Hall, two animal barns, an outdoor riding ring, and outbuildings. The Agricultural Hall was built on 20+ acres at the intersection of State and Panhandle Roads. Surrounded by open space with old growth trees dispersed throughout and backed on one side by a big hayfield, the location emanates peace and beauty typical of rural settings. A wooden barn formerly located in rural New Hampshire was meticulously demolished board by board, numbered labeled, packed, and packaged before being transported to the island by 42 volunteer 'Barnbusters' in the spring of 1994. In November of that year, hundreds of people from all around the island came together in a confluence of generosity to assist in the raising, sheathing, shingling, and painting of the 'new' Hall. Adding a front hall and verandah in the style and spirit of the 'old' Ag Hall, which is now known as the Grange Hall, on State Road, was a priority. It is possible to rent out the land for a limited number of events such as weddings and funerals, as well as religious, non-profit, educational, and governmental functions, as well as agricultural and allied operations.
